A stripped-back kitchen rebuilt in warm maple shaker cabinetry, with granite carried from the countertop all the way up the wall.
Small bathrooms are where cabinet choices show up fastest. White doors and a marble top were chosen to keep the room feeling open, and the vanity was sized to the wall rather than bought to a standard width, which recovered several inches of floor that a stock unit would have swallowed.
No job is too big or too small, and a single vanity is a job worth doing properly. The box is plywood, the doors are soft close, and the finish is specified for a room that will be wet twice a day for the next twenty years.
An oval mirror above the basin and a textured white wall keep the eye moving upward, which is the cheapest way there is to make a tight room feel taller.
