Bathroom remodeling ranks second only to the kitchen for the difference it makes to daily life, and a second sink is the single change most couples notice first. The vanity was built as one run with a continuous granite top rather than two separate units pushed together, which keeps the joint out of the middle of the counter where water collects.
The cabinets are maple, finished to suit the room and sealed for a space that gets steam every morning. Drawer storage sits between the two sink bases, so the things that usually end up on the counter have somewhere to live.
A mirror over each sink, rather than one wide sheet, gives the wall some rhythm and makes the vanity read as two stations instead of one long slab.
